Motorsport Team Germany opens applications for 2024 FIA Motorsport Games

  • Deutsche Motor Sport Bund / German Motorsport Federation becomes the first ASN to open applications for its 2024 FIA Motorsport Games squad
  • Motorsport Team Germany plans to compete in 22 of the 26 disciplines/categories
  • Interested teams and drivers can now apply until 31 October 

The German Motorsport Federation has become the first ASN (National Sporting Authority) to open applications for teams and drivers to represent their nation and compete for Team Germany in the FIA Motorsport Games 2024.

The third edition of the FIA ​​Motorsport Games will take place from 23-27 October 2024 in Valencia, Spain, encompassing an expanded programme of 26 competitions. More than 70 nations from across the globe will once again compete to win gold, silver and bronze medals in a format that is unique in motorsport. Only athletes who have been appointed to the respective team by their national federation can take part.

In 2022, Motorsport Team Germany won the FIA ​​New Star Trophy. With two gold medals earned in the Auto Slalom and Karting Slalom, the German team was able to secure first place in the rankings of the youth and popular sports competitions. The German delegation fought its way to fourth place in the medal table.

DMSB sends athletes to Valencia

Interested teams and drivers can now apply to the German Motor Sport Federation to take part in the FIA ​​Motorsport Games 2024. After reviewing the applications, the DMSB will appoint the most promising candidates to the German Team at the end of November 2023,  in order to give the drivers and teams time to better plan for the 2024 season.

For the first time, the DMSB will provide a German team hotel to which all participating athletes are invited. The DMSB also covers the entry fees for the popular sports disciplines. Further costs (travel costs, supplier) will be borne by the participants themselves. Further information can also be found in the application form.
